Lindsey leads on our engagement and communications steering group.
She is internationally recognised for her pioneering work in developing and applying techniques for involving a wide range of individuals and organisations in sustainable development - often in situations of conflict. In 1993, at the age of 25, Lindsey established Vision 21 in Gloucestershire, the first community-based Local Agenda 21, a network of 1,500 volunteers working on 60 projects, in partnership with the county council and 6 district councils.
Now, Lindsey runs a small company focusing on conflict resolution, public and stakeholder participation. Lindsey is also a partner of InterAct Networks, an organisation pioneering capacity building for particiaption in organisations and communities. She is a Dialogue and Engagmeent Specialist for the Sciencewise-Expert Resource Centre, advising government on the use of public dialogue on technical and scientific issues, and is on the Board of Involve, an organisation bringing institutions, communities and citizens together to accelerate innovation, understanding, discussion and change through public participation.
